3000 Gto ?

Has anyone ever raced one? I know I never have, they never want to play.

They just seem to be one of those cars that just arn't driven fast.

Funny you should mention that, Herman, but I met one on the M20 this morning. Let him pass me then followed up Wrotham Hill .... seemed a fair comparison an M'reg GTO versus and M'reg 300, both with non-standard zorst (by the look of it).

Seemed pretty rapid, but wasn't stretching 4th gear too much .. I think reeling him in was been relatively easy for a while, but I've gotta admit, I did back off at about 125, but he seemed less worried about his licence than I did ... yeah, I lost my bottle:eek:

Remembering back to a mate's one, they're pretty damn quick off the mark, assisted by 4wd, but I don't think they go as well higher up the speed range:p

Still like 'em though - nice interior - proper muscle-car dash.

Can anyone else confirm/deny.

CheerZ,

John.

Yeah they are limitted by their stock turbo setup. Can you believe the turbos run out of steam at 5500rpm lol.

CheerZ,

Andy

Why? How does that work?

I think I remember seeing that the stock pressure is 12.5psi though. Like the Supra

They just run out of puff stuart - simple as that.

CheerZ,

Andy
