Haha, Jesus, your garage is like Aladin's cave, don't suppose you've got some illuminated rear quarters in there too?

Got a set of these in mine. they look really good and much better than tinted glass.

And best part of it is that i was given them for free. :-)

Any photo's?

Were they an optional extra? or are they not made by Nissan?

I reckon my sister-in-law could knock a set of these up using her laser cutter and some thin perspex in the right colour.

Then just a case of cutting the logo on a vinyl cutter and transfering on.

Stevie - I have just spoken to my sister-in-law and she says she could do a set in 3mm perspex for about £65.

We would need an original set to use as a template, or at least use your car to take the correct measurements and make our own templates. Colour can be pretty much whatever you want.

Nice idea, but I wanna see some pics of them fitted. not sure what colour I'd go for other than red, but I don't know how they'd look from the outside.

I was thinking of battering Lee with pm's again and eventually getting him to part with his set :whistling:

Just to let you know Stevie, that my sister-in-law has managed to source perspex which is the same colour as the OEM ones you have linked to.

I dont think they are flat pieces. Im presuming they are contoured to the curve of the window, and you might struggle to get 3mm perspex to do the same on fitting.

Edited by Yowser

they are not flat, they match the shape (curve) of the window, and they are slightly flexible too.

They look cool, but the ones in the advert are a slight red it apears. What colour are your's Lee?

  • Author
in the light mine are the same colour. they do go a slight red, but you only really notice it from the inside.

Ah I see. Is a nice bit of kit, bet there aren't many about now.

I think I'm gonna get a set mocked up on my Slicky.

Will see what me and my sister can come up with using thin perspex and some cleverly applied heat.
