for the guys running 500bhp can you give me a run down of parts and whats in volved to get that kind of power thanks

Or if your budget doesn't stretch that far see Turbonoz. He could tune a potato to about 400bhp. It's still bloody fast. I want half a thousand one day too but till then the car is great as it is now.

1) Turbos - GT2560R

2) 750cc Injectors

3) Apexi AVC-R

4) Big FMIC

5) 2.5" free flow exhaust

6) Dual Intake

 

and basicly thats it ;)

I have to be honest, getting big numbers out of a normal engine worries me. Not saying there's anything wrong with it but wonder if your pushing something to the lit, how long it'll last.

I see what you guys are saying . so far the car has cat back system, cone intake, boost is 14psi and chip stock turbos . I want to do intercoolers next. but after this what is the next step. the car deffo need more power that's for sure

You need a bigger rad, stage 3 clutch to handle it, to reach your goal your turbos need replacing, I am lucky enough to of hit 500 without doing internals, my spec list is in 'my garage', if you care to peruse :yes:.

next logical steps are:

underdrive pulley

2.5" intake piping with preferably 2.5" in/out to your ICs

downpipes and decat(3" is better) - however, if you're going to bigger turbos later, i would suggest you wait and just get 5bolt ones with bigger tubs

 

you'll want bigger injectors or to run higher fuel pressure

 

But most importantly, stop using a generic chip and go see TurboNoz

yes, it does make a significant difference, especially to the mid range/spool up.

 

The main thing about the vg30 is to allow it to breathe. reduce the bottleneck on the intake and exhaust side, then open up the heads ...

only if you're going for the 2.5 piping.

 

decating helps too, some people say it causes tubs to smoke, but in reality they must be on the way out already and cats were masking it

If you want 500hp and don't want to rebuild the engine the first thing I would do is a compression test just to give you an idea of the health of the engine then

 

Full 3in exhaust including elbows no cats

2.5in intake piping

I'd personally go for something like the dual pop intake

Intercoolers or front mount

Spark plugs

At least 550cc injectors

Turbo upgrade

Bigger rad

And proper Remap

 

Also other things to consider are things like deleting a few things, cambelt if not been done, then just general service items like fuel filter ect,

 

If your not doing the work yourself I'd budget a good few grand

I wouldn't be surprised if your generic chip was providing you with more than 350fwhp so, many will tell you it's good for 370 odd, in reality most seen to produce 330-350... A proper tube would more than likely net you circa 400hp
