I bought 6 pot 2 piece venom rears with Hella lights from Baz off ebay but a bit confused about the lights. Not fitted yet.

 

At present the set up is outer light red LED, inner lights are tail lights, brake lights and indicators.

 

Are the outer LED lights daylight running lights or can they be used as the tail lights? as I would like to change the inner configuration to indicator, brake light, one side reversing the other fog.

yes

I use the outer ring for tail and brake light, you need a ceramic 5 watt ..ohm? ( will take a look) in the tail feed to dim the lights and the brake feed with no resistor for full power, you will also need a diode on each feed to prevent feedback of voltage through the system
