after one garage bodge job and now fed up waiting for my bro so i can change the o ring ,

(where the filler tube attaches to the tank via six wee bolts )

i going to attack it tomorrow

is there a best way to do this ?

i don't have access to a ramp so we are talking jacking up the rear

any info more than welcome

Personally (and this is just me) I would take the tank off completely in case of rusted/snapped bolts etc and whilst on the deck spruce the tank up with a lick of paint.

So yes, jack up rear, fit stands,remove N/S/R wheel etc,etc.

If Dropping the tank,go inside boot first disconnect fuel lines and sender wires under the inspection cover.
