Well me and the missus are back from Cornwall, what a nice place and the perren sands is decent too! Only took is 4 hours to get there but we did use £90 in fuel (I enjoyed the noisey pedal a bit too much) No traffic at all! Not once were we stuck in a jam  BUT the return leg was a whole different story, the M5 can go **** itself!!!!!:cursing: more than 2 ******* hours stuck on that road!! I even said to the missus and I quote " I will never bad mouth the m6 ever again, this M5 is ridiculous"..... :nono::nono::nono::nono::nono:

How stupid was that comment! The M6 was shafted aswel!! Un fooking believable!! It's taken 7 hours to get home ARRRGGGHHHHHH but strangely we only used £75 in fuel

Wow it feels good to vent, the missus must have been getting angry listening to me shout at other road users, the roads, those stupid matrix things, speed cameras, police, and pretty much anything else in my sights  I will sleep like a baby tonight, oh there is a couple of positives! The zed has done probably 900 miles this week and didn't miss a single beat!! And I'm having a Chinese bought for tea tonight. RESULT!!!

Did you visit the pub on the beach at perranporth?? Bloody lovely place

We didn't leave the site much Mikey, went to Newquay a couple of times but the entertainment in the club was decent enough and we watched the footy on Wednesday in the sports bar (damn mancs!!!!)

Fri afternoon mate, many years of trying to get a truck home early on a Friday !! Never going to happen, all motorways fooked !!!!

Glad the 3 of you (that includes the ZX...) had a great holiday mate...!!

That kind of thing is what the ZX is made for - I only did not take mine to Cornwall 3 weeks ago because I have already covered 4000 (out of a permitted 5000) miles on my classic policy; and I don't renew it until 12 November!!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Didn't take my zed to Cornwall purely because of the car park in st ives. Would have been much more fun than my mums corolla!!

£50 return from liverpool, took us 45mins........ Although I'd rather drive the zed down there as long as there was no traffic.

Adam, Nice to hear the Zed is going well, maybe time to think about an oil change since you have been using the loud pedal!

It really is a "good un"

All the best Daveg
