Hi guys,I just got a new battery for my z,the car way lying for a few years and I was just testing out the electrics but for some reason the front indicators won't work,would you guys have any idea why this happened as they were working the last time I drove it,any help would fantastic.cheers lads :no:

the indicators are prone to corrosion the earthing points on mine corroded so they wouldnt work or it could be a relay

the EL section has wiring diagrams that tag earth points with codes, these can be transposed to the cabling diagram....

 

but like dkboro121 says, take the indicators off and check the bulb holders.

(we assume the front side repeaters on the wing are still working).

an unlikely but simple to test cause could be the hazard switch being partially stuck on. this happened to me once because my hazard switch was a little loose. just click the hazards on and off a couple of times and give the left-hand control pod a gentle whack. worth a try.

Thanks guys,i have power coming to the connector just before bulb holder,so i spliced the earth wire and used a small piece of wire to run up to the bulb and it worked,looks like the earth on the bulb holder is corroded
