Camber arms and wheel alignment?

Hello,

Trying to solve a pulling to the left issue like Dan and went and did the gap test this evening and realised that the front right camber is leaning in towards the arch (negative?) by a couple of degrees, I believe this could be contributing to the pulling issue.

I will have my mechanic look into what is causing it, but if it is unidentified then a camber kti should sort it right?... There is one on ebay for £100, is that an alright price?

Also when I had my wheels aligned last week they just put a laser alignment then on the rear wheels to measure the mm, then set the front wheels up at 5mm each against the back wheels.. I have no idea what it meant or whether they were mean to do something with the rear wheels as well but if anyone has some advice that woudl be grand.. Thinking of finding a shop with a hunter machine.

Best regards,

your going the need ajustable arms thay are fixed

I would avoid cheap eBay camber arms, go for known brands and pay a bit more. I understand Cusco to be a reputable brand, however, I don't believe those arms allow for camber adjustment? Maybe I'm wrong but it certainly doesn't look like they do from the pic. I've never seen replacement arms that aren't adjustable before.

yes i fitted ajustable ones front and rear now

your ging to have to do what i did fit ajustable front and rear camber kit and ajustable tention rods get good tention rods tho i got cheap ones set the tyre pressure and go get the all the car set up on a hunter machine when its all in the green then you know your wheels are aligned then i made sure brakes were not rubing and now on am subframe bushes and it it still pulls after that join me one nite with a can of petrol and i wil set fire to the pair of them cus thats what i plan on doing to mine soon

Thanks for the advice, Think I will get on that. It must really suck man. Sure it isn't worth the bin though... The most annoying part is how badly the think handles when it pulls, you never feel confident in your driving!

i found when the front tention rod bush was leaking the car pulled very bad after i fitted the tention rods and had it set up it did help but car still drifts left have a look at your tentions rods that control caster and odd caster plays a big part if its not the same on each side like when the bush was leaking it made the front wheel move farward out of intrest get a tape and messure from the top of the wheel centre car to the inside of the arch on all side and report back i did mine and found the front left one was odd am not sure why am looking in to this at the mo

i was having the same problem and bought those camber arms on ebay by mistake, luckily he refunded full and i got the driftworks adjustable cambers which r doin the trick, ive being told i'l save on tyres also but i think my brakes r rubbing on full lock so i need a couple of shims

If the height is lower on one side then the springs could be sagging, causing a bad camber and a pull?
