T-top weatherstrip clips, substitutes / replacements?

Anybody any idea what to do about replacing these clips? They go in the t-top weather strips.

 

There are 5 of them per strip ... going to try some small little hex nuts in the ends - maybe with a bit of glue ... in the actual stripping though only the original thing is going to work properly I guess ... apart possibly a square nut.

 

Anyone any advice?
