Mines ecu and egr delete?

Looks like my egr has been blanked off, can the egr valve be unplugged and the whole system be totally removed from my car without either putting the car into limp mode or putting cel on?

    Yes, the 300zx is designated OB1 and does not have the ability to monitor units such as egr valve like more modern cars can with OB2.

    ye just junk it and block up the ports on the plenum and on the Solenoid vac signal. ECU doesnt care as long as it measures a voltage across the solenoid coil. It has no idea whether the EGR is actually working or not.

     

    I run a MINES ECU and blanked EGR with no issues.
