Ok this is aimed at the 30,s plus set but anyone can comment.. Who has any long term plans for retirement?? and i dont mean in a financial way but a long term dream or hopes for a paticular lifestyle in the future.

i have nothing in place and will gladly work till i die, i dont like taking time off work never mind retiring, my boss keeps hinting on at me to buy all his propertys and business so who knows what the future will bring

With that much time and personal assistance you have given him Allan he should start to consider helping you get a few rentals yourself for the future, financial and contacts ime on about. All this future malarky is all well and good as long as we retain our health and the missus does,nt run off with a spanish waiter in which case ile just stay at home and be a sad old fker:lol:

Becks will have a fantastic pension. And I just save save save and what I own is mine. I don't owe anyone anything si nothing can be taken from me.

The US is blown out the water mate,finnished and would now be one of the last places to retire on my list. The nation as a whole has no compassion for anyone not involved in goverment,hollywood or on the Federal payrole:rolleyes: When myself and the wife and daughter travel she now leaves her US passport in her handbag and goes Britania:lol:

 

More compassion than they show the nation over here. Depends where you are too. The vast majority of the country still feels like it did 15 years ago.
