pc burners

Seeing as there are a few computer tech people on here i was wondering which free to download dvd burners you would recommended.

the currently used one is nero, but it seems to have a momentary pause on every disk every 3-4seconds. its not a complete stop, but more of a very fast glitch.

If burned as a data cd they play on the pc perfect, but then wont play in a dvd player.

    It's been a long time since I burnt video, but have you tried upping the buffer size or slowing the record speed? Nero should be able to do what you want and it sounds like the buffer is getting full before it can burn it to disc. Just a thought.
