is there any difference between the jdm autobox ecu and a uk spec autobox ecu?

can they cause any issues with gear changeing???

has anyone fitted the hks alc and are there any benefits or can they shorten the life of the auto box

Another quick question

On the Auto is it a 4 speed box or a 3 speed? Just asking as my mate pointed out his Merc Auto has 1 -2 -3 + Drive positions where he Zed Auto only has 1 -2 + Drive

I couldn't help him as mines a manual

JDM autobox ECU is different to UK autobox ecu as the former has switchable mode ( hold--normal--sport)/

Had alc fitted to both of my auto`s and both reacted differently, my first zed came with one fitted and the box was super slick and fast changing, my second zed I fitted an alc and although was slightly better was not that impressed second time around, and as far as shortening the gearbox life, it is likely it would on a 20+ year old box.
