so ive been looking to get a 2TB or 4TB HDD but there are different kinds and tbh not sure which to get

basically i want to use it as a back up device for my and my mrs laptops and to stream my movies on my network either on my ps3 or tv. ive found a few but tbh not sure if there is a difference if getting a 80 quid 2tb prtable hard drive or one that is a media storage.

ive found these two

http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing-accessories/data-storage/network-hard-drives/wd-my-book-live-network-hard-drive-2-tb-black-09520191-pdt.html

and

http://www.maplin.co.uk/4tb-seagate-central-shared-storage-719968

then theres this for 70 quid

i already have 800gb worth of movies and tv series and i need more space!! but need the option to back up..

im leaning towards the seagate central stcg 400200, but if i can do the same with something cheaper, would be ideal

so if anyone knows of a good device please let me know, i prefer wired connection but if it comes with wifi its a bonus i guess

thanks

I have been using a couple of Western Digital 1TB hard drives for a couple of years now, no problems, would recommend and replace mine with the same make when needed.
