i have cat back japspeed system and for me its little loud i wouldnt fancy driving all the way were your going would drive me mad. how loud it your system? i have boost jets and a z centre chip to go in in a few days so am sure it will use more juice then

Veilside system is an amazing system. It has a very deep exotic burble with no cabin intrusion what so ever. Absolutely ZERO droan. You get all the sound outside the car and it's reasonably loud when you put your foot down, but it's a very very refined noise.

am thinkin about fitting the stock centre pipes back in thay have reonators on them and just using the japspeed back boxes but am unsure if the stock centre pipes are restrictive in any ?

Vacuum at idle should show the stock gauge as far to the left as possible (-9 to -14 on the UK boost gauge); on a warmed up engine, as per the "buyer's guide" we have. Somewhere....

That's actually pretty good. I was budgeting on 300 to a tank at a steady 70/80 on French motorways. It's 500 miles from St.Malo to my destination near Toulouse. The way back is about 100 miles longer as I'm sailing back from a different port and driving over the Millau Bridge before heading up to LeMans. So, french side, that should see me running about 1200 miles, with another 200 from my home to Portsmouth and back giving between 1400 and 1500. So I'm plumping on using about 4-5 tanks. We'll see how well it does.

You should do that easily Si. I've managed just over 300 at a steady few MPH over that (autobahn, not UK of course).... Sounds like a great trip - get some pics of your car on the Millau Bridge and post them up when you get back...!!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
