Had to post just to gloat, and seeing as my cheque for membership hasn't cleared yet I can only post here!

Just got a new mobile valeting company to do the cars in my office car park. They only charge £15 fo a complete wash n wax, vac out, polish inside (including glass!), black the tyres, empty the ashtray and leave an air-freshener in there.

A good price, but coz I'm the boss and I gave them the business I get my ZX done for FREE EVERY WEEK, YEAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!:D :D :D :p :D

i would not let anyone clean my car thank you. Id far rather do it myself, i get alot of enjoyment from wiping down the swoopy lines ect :D

My ZX is my only form of transport and a daily driver. I like it to look good at all times, but in the winter it's just a pain in the ass. The company I am using are a quality outfit, fully insured and the chap that comes here was reccommended to me by two of my clients from a previous firm. This guy is used to working on their cars:-

1. Aston Martin DB7 Vantage

2. Ferrari 555 Maranello

3. Ferrari 360 Modena

4. Mercedes CL55 AMG

5. Porsche 911 Carrera S4

I kinda trust him with me 11 year old ZX!

warren you're not alone, i enjoy cleanig up the motor, always puts a smile on my face when the car is gleaming after all my hard work. Allthough im not sure id say no to somebody doing it for me, its cold out these days ;)

Christ on a bike! £15? Is that a reduced price for doing a bunch of cars, or just normal single charge?

One of the blokes in the office gets his Omega done every now and again: £50 for what sounds like a very similar job!

£50?

All you need to do is keep on top of it. Wash your car every week and the polish comes through every time and hoover it for 10 mins every two weeks.

There you go. Save you money. :D

Yup, £15 is the going rate, £20 for 4x4's. I've encountered a few mobile car valet companies like this in my area and they all charge about the same. Must have to work 24/7 to make any money as they spend about 40mins cleaning each car, and they also have to collect it in the first place, and put it back after. They also have to supply the power washer, the polishes, all the cloths AND the air-freshener (ok it's only one of those tree things, but still...):D
