Hi guys just getting the Z ready for MOT, and one of the dip lights are dim, but the bulb looks fine, so thinking its the earth somewhere, does anyone know where the earth is as I cant seem to see it.

Have you actually swapped the bulbs over and got the same results and/or tested the bulbs on the bench :huh:.

I'm not certain but I'd imagine its the bolt going into the chassis rail just behind each headlight. Make sure the bulb is good though first

swapped bulbs over and got same result will have a look tomorrow for the earth cheers

Unless anyone has done an earthing mod for hid lights, then the earth wire from both dipped lights and from both full beam go to a change over relay in the big engine bay fuse box.

perhaps theres an earth for each side of the engine bay just like on the pulsars????

There is an earth behind the passenger headlamp.

JDM and UK are different... what is yours?

 

go for the HID conversion and use a new relay to supply power to both...

 

the standard dipped beam on the Zed's are 5hit!!!!
