There was a 2000 Z for sale for £20,000. 1000kms 2 seater hard top twin turbo. Nice!!

Dont forget that most Jap cars are sent here because of the 3 year law where the tax shoots up ever year after the 3 years. So really 1999 ones will only be coming available in about a year or 2.

Plus why spend £20,000 on a ZX when in 5 years it would be worth next to nothing.

Also I seem to recall that the interior of the later Zeds isn't a patch on the interior that we all know and love now... Someone must have a picture of it somewhere, I'm sure. :)

the reason is because to import a car that late, the eSVA regulations are so strict it isnt worth importing them cos it costs so much to have them modified to the spec they want for the UK. I suppose you could do it if you have the money to burn. But as stuart says we will probably see a few 1999 ones soon.

But you may as well replace the word "ZX" with "car" :)

lol

At the end of the day, id buy a 99 or 2000 model above almost any other car i can think of.

Just think a brand new version of what you have right now.

no agro ect

I haven't had much aggro with my car at all... :D Usual PTU issue, new turbos (Warranty) and a clutch that's looking as though it will need replacing soon, but in over 4 years of ownership, I don't consider that to be bad... :D :D :D :D
