Hi, been having this fuel smell for a while but it seems to be getting stronger. Don't know if it's this hot weather or not.

My Z is running fine at idle and full load but noticed even after it's been stationary for a while hot or cold engine there is a strong fuel smell coming from what seems like the passenger side rear wheel.

Can't see anything dripping down after driving, or leaving it at idle but just a very strong smell. No wet on my garage floor in the morning it's all just very weird! If anyone has an idea what it could be please let me know as the smell is only coming from this area.

The only other thing is when going to fill up with fuel and undoing the filler cap there is no woosh sound like there used to be. There has been no woosh sound for the past 3 years tho and this was after doing a carbon canister delete. The smell has only been about for the past month.

Im guessing it could be the fuel filler neck joining onto the fuel tank leaking fumes! If anyone has had this problem before or knows of a cure,

Any help would be appreciated

Does sound like the fuel filler neck or maybe a pershied hose on the tank? Best bet is to get it in the air and have a look mate.
