There's been many changes over the last year and its now under the Notifications dropdown !

 

am on every day i have all. function and private message setting is no longer on heading with the rest of choices

Can you see a heading saying Notifications.

yep i have that , the pm setting was after calender setting but no longer there so unable to pm only if they are in friends

Click on Notifications and your inbox will come up so click on that for pm's

Its the way we all do it now mate. It also gives you notifications of rep if you get any :yes:

So it has been a while since you've been here then, as the PM systems been like that for just over a year now.

no i send pm all the time out of my friend section ,just hadnt noticed it gone til now thought i had aroblem with ipad .

It's not been like that for a year like, more like 2 or 3 days! Was definitely available at the top the other day.

 

Can you put it back as I like it better there

where did you think it used to be, on what bar or next to what other option ?

 

Seriously its never showed on my system; nothings been touched for over a month and I've always used the notification centre to get to pm's.

It was on one of the bars above the one with notifications on. But was only on the front screen. Was definitely there on Thursday cos I used it. But it's not been there over this weekend. I only saw this thread because I was going to mention it myself

ok, i'll try sqeeze something in, never noticed it myself but likely because i'm so used to using the other way.

Yeh, its a bugger that one, seems the smallest search needs to be about 4 or 5 letters or more now.

now added back on, even though I don't remember it being there or turning it off, lol

the private message setting is back now thought i was going mad .....

yeh I enabled the extra button,

 

Its likely got turned on at last update and turned off again somehow and I never noticed as I don't use it.
