Sorry guys I having a gripe.

Bl**dy Warranty Company

 

My Z needed new Diff Oil Seal & Camshaft Oil

after diagnosed at 'C' service last month.

 

The garage phoned the warranty company who said at the time it was covered. get aphone call this morning (as its gone in for the work) to be told its now not covered ARRGGHH!

 

So I moan on about not documenting contact with the warranty company, not taking names or getting an approval number before booking in for work, added a touch of 'as agesture of goodwill you should contribute to the labour if you want my continued business etc...' and now half got the hourly labour rate halved, though still looking at a £400ish bill... Sorry kids your not eating more a week, whats that son? am I still putting in a refinery's worth of petrol each week? course I am Dah!

 

Sorry, i'll stop now.

 

Not really the money (well a bit!) but poor

customer service causing unecesary stress etc. How basic is it for a Main Dealer to follow a simple procedure, obviously very.

 

All this for a 'Nissan' stamp in the service book.

 

To top it all I running around in a less than exotic Nissan ... A 1.0L Micra!!!!!!

Nightmare mate, I think that the main dealers feel cheated when you are going via a warranty company. They like to see the look of pain on your face when you go to pay the final bill, I swear it! If they know that you're getting a free ride...or freeish, they don't like it. They want your hard earned, not some lifesaver plan!
