Rear sway/anti roll bar sizes

Ok, so just got a shipment form Z1 Motorsport for my Jap 93 spec TT. Test fitted everything - as you do- and the sway bar bushes ('D' shaped ones with the spilt) are too big. On the box it says they are 26mm. looking on line there are 18mm for Jap and 24mm for UK/Europe spec. So just about to order 18mm bushes when I went and had a quick measure just to be sure. 21mm is the diameter of my sway bar!!

Does any one know what's going on? I was content in knowing about the difference in sizes but now it has become clear that I haven’t a clue!

Is it a TT vs. NA thing?

Cheers

Chris.

UK ones were thicker and solid. Are you sure it's a stock one you've got? Sounds like it might be an aftermarket one.

I've no idea to be honest. I imported it in 2008 and have no history with it. It is hollow though.

What you need is a UK anti roll bar. Like the one I've got for sale :p

Sounds like you really think I should buy your roll bar! If mine is after market then it's there for a reason and i'm happy to keep it, I'm just trying to find out why....

What colour is it? White line aftermarket ones are grey, oem are black
