Whats involved in using a lock out bar on the 94 TT?

 

All the kits all say 90-93 only. looking into my options and costs but cannot find a 94 lockout bar?

 

i actually thought they were all the same from a removal perspective apart from I wouldnt need to remove the pump.

 

Cant find any tech threads on it...

thay are the same lock out bar ...

 

u just completely remove the hicas unit as you would ... unplug it and fit the locking bar really simple no messy oil pumps or pipes to worry about

exactly the same, mines a series 4 and I fitted the driftworks kit!

so there will still be the fluid lines to bypass etc?? so you still need the kit really and not just the bar?

 

Lee I know Marks opinion, do think its better without the Hicas?

there is no Oil Lines what so ever for the rear 2s>s4 Electric hicas

with electronic hicas there is no oil pipes to bypass, simply unbolt and unplug it.

 

as far as to have or not to have all depends on personal driving preference I guess.

 

personally it feels a better drive and you don't feel your backend gonna drift without warning.
