Anyone know if the rear sub has to be dropped to get them off. Looks as though there is no way to get a spanner into them??

    You can ge to them without removing the subframe :)

     

    Really, thats good to know. Like Clint said it looks it ain't possible unless the subframe drops. I have another crack it then.

    Do you mean the bolts behind the bumper or the ones on the other side (higher up and towards the middle of the car)?

    I undone those from underneath with a 1/4" ratchet and 10mm (IIRC but could have been 12mm) socket.
