I collected my Z from Jeff's today after having a few niggles sorted....

 

The a/c needed regassing and the electric fan was not operating - but Jeff discovered the two faults were related. Basically as the electric fan was not cutting in, the a/c gas overheated and expanded, popping the rear seal on the compressor. Hence the gas all leaked out! So one replacement fan unit and compressor, followed by a re-gas and all is well.....

 

.....Jeff also re-applied the underseal for me, fitted my new oil pressure sender (thanks Yewcheck) and sorted the lazy central locking on the passenger door.

 

Thank you Jeff - you're a star. And thank you Lynda for the tea - it was good talking with you both today also!!
