So I'm debating on what to do with the timing belt covers whenever I get the belt sorted.

The options I'm thinking of are:

- kept the standard black covers - possibly clean up or re-paint black

- paint blue to match the other stuff in the engine bay

- get one of the top covers that ZCentre sell

paint them blue to match the rest of your stuff in the engine bay,did mine the same as my paint work rocker covers balance bar timing belt cover and throttle cover kh2

If you paint them, make sure they are lacquered as the grime soon builds and are a bitch to clean as ive found out lol, If yours was a weekend toy then the top cover would also be fine, but you will have to keep on top of the dirt as it will be getting into your sprockets etc.. so think hard about long term rather than a quick wow factor.

you forgot one on the poll

AMS Clear and Smoked Covers

How much are the ams ones Mark??

think there about $180 .. but they give discount on that ... so if there going in an existing order with some one .. u end up paying just over £100quid at a guess

Agreed - just leave them standard and black IMO.....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Voted for repainting in black. If you could paint them blue and get it the exact same colour that's there now then that could look good, but more often than not it's a different shade and looks pants imo.

As cool as the Zcentre one looks I wouldn't use it as I think the belt should be covered personally.

So this is how it looks now, I'm thinking I could probably get a colour match for the blue throttle cable cover

And get some stainless bolts to replace that rusty crap holding the cam covers on
