what is the best way to extend clutch slave cylinder rod ?

Just done this on mine, I think it's about 7mm piece of rod just cut longer and rounded the ends off

By how much.

Make a new one if you don't have enough clutch clearance ...

 

or shorten it if biting point is wrong but fully adjusted on the peddle

my padal is maxed out ... can`t extend it any more and can`t get in to 1st gear while moving even 1mm per hour :) and i need to force from first to second gear. so don`t know how much i need to extend it :) btw it`s a brand new clutch

Wind the Adjusting nut all the way back .. and make a new Rod around 1/2" Longer and then try again

Rolandas...iff you get a precise size (length/thickness) you need ile knock you one up on the lathe mate:wink:

some steel rod around 6>7mm thick .. then just round the ends off in a dome shape ..
