I have an area that Im looking to turn into a driveway/off-road parking at some point in the future. Currently it is overgrown with wild bushes and stinging nettles.

Looking for a cheap and easy method to get rid of it all, without me hacking away at it hours , for it only to end up growing back.

I was thinking of filling a couple of buckets with a bleach & water mix and dousing the area ? Will this kill of the overgrowth and stop it returning ? Any other suggestions ?

Haha, nah, I don't give her that much spending money :)

Let us know if you find something that does it, I really want to murder death kill my garden, so nothing can ever grow again, not even bacteria. I'm flagging and astroturfing it, and plant pots, so I don't want anything that lives basically. I was thinking allsorts like old engine oil or diesel, but it's a bit naughty...

blach is no good, only one way to get them suckers out and that is hard work, dig the roots out and scatter the whole place with rocksalt, cover with plastic, will stop anything growing back

any of these will work well!

triclopyr (SBK Brushwood Killer) or glyphosate (William Sinclair Bramble Killer Ultra or other tough formulations of glyphosate such as Scotts Roundup Ultra 3000, Scotts Tumbleweed, Bayer Tough Rootkill or Doff Knockdown Maxi Strength Weedkiller)

I just had to read your thread after seeing the title mate........

find 2 polish lads and pay them £40 they will remove it :)

.....Although not quite what I expected (LOL), I reckon Mark has an idea.....!!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
