After all the rain we've just had ,got in my 'Z' this morning to find the passenger seat rather wet!

Noticed drips comming in at the front join of the targa top.

I slapped loads of Autoglym bumpercare on the seals only a few days ago.

Is there a cheap way to stop this in the future or should I get some new seals, and if so where should I get them etc.?

Cheers,

F.T.

Could be that the drainage channels are blocked. If I remember correctly, they run down inside the A-pillars.

Yep, check the drainage holes, i test them by pouring water down them and checking it comes out underneath the car.

I had a leak on the drivers side. I took the targa panels out and found alot of the rubber seals had been squashed and malformed when the panels had been put in carelessly by the previous owner. I used some clear kitchen sink sealant to build the seals up and reshape the rubbers to stop the water coming in.

I was getting a deluge from where the widow seal has 2 rubbers that join at the top of the door/window, the water would leak from the targa channels down on to the rubber join and then into the car.

But i must have fixed it as the car stayed bone dry through the recent floods :)
