Its time to swap my old versions ptu of the new, try find some good pictures how make this but google have only crap, so if som1 have please sent good pictures I will be very grateful thx. Pit :)

if its not broke leave it,the common failure ptu myth is hardly relevant now 20 odd years later,mines the one it came with and its a 91 model.

Ive hard solder a S2 PTU in using this diagram, its the same wire for wire apart from the earth lead, check the wire colors, i have bright pink with colored stripes wires on my new engine loom, where as the PTU wires were black with colored stripes, but the inner colors (the stripe color) was still the same, also make sure you get the orientation around the correct way, S1 PTU, is labeled E on the end of the numbers, S2 PTU has numbers with the E already on them, embossed into the casing, its not as complicated as it looks.

if you can't follow that diagram then you are better off getting the connection hardness from Nissan ( the part number is clear in the PDF instructions in the link).
