Chemical cleaning might be a good option, I think that polished looks a bit tacky, but each to their own. Anodising could be nice but it normally goes a bit patchy on castings.

SE will be doing mine when I fit Nismo injectors and Hybrids;)

I have bought a spare plenum :D and its being worked on by a company as we speak:p

I will put pics up of the results as i get them!

what bout chroming it im having a new engine as we speak so when mine gets returned im going to try and have it chromed!!

Hi,

I want to get the metal plenum cover on my z31 Turbo chromed. Is it possible to chrome an alloy casting?

At the moment it's corroded and covered in peeling paint.

I've got my kermachromed, which gives it a black satin finish, V good on a black car!

I must admit I do prefer the look of the polished one as opposed to the chrome, does anyone know how much it costs and Macca what are they doing to your engine?
