Cams and Cam Gears Compatability ?

Hi guys,

Looking at getting some parts for my head rebuild and need some clarification.

I have series 1 heads that I will be using for the build.

So.....will s1 inlet manual cams fit to s2 inlet cam gears and fit the s1 heads.

or......Will s2 inlet manual cams and s2 inlet cam gears fit the s1 heads.

And....Will s2 exhaust manual cams fit my s1 heads.

Thanks for any input.

NO ..

to use the S1 inlet cams u will need the S1 pulleys as the cams are slightly Longer where the vtc pulley fits on same with s2 cam/pulley

exhaust cams are the same

the only performance different between all the cams is only Auto>manual

but the s1/s2 cams will fit all heads

What are the spec differences between the auto and manual inlet cams wrt lift and duration?

Thanks

i can not tell you the tech spec of the two .. other than the Manual cams will Larger Profile ( Longer lift duration )
