hi bud ill have a look at that page the aiv could I take it away or should I just get the kit and the aiv and water bypass is on the list

since you have access to all the above i would be doing it regardless .. saves doing it later with the box and other things in place

cheers guys we still up for the exhaust mark

wheres that and whats is it for bud

The sensor sits between the two cylinder banks at the back of the block, it's a small black box that detects engine knock or detonation. It's mainly the loom that fails iirc but it's certainly worth checking out and or replacing. May save you having to do the resistor bypass if it fails in the future.

you can not see it or get to it with the EGR in place .. just thought i say .. but once u removed it and u got a skinny/girly hands u can get in there with a 12mm spanner :)

Can you get to if the EGR has been ditched then Mark ? Just in case mine starts playing up! lol

Not from the top of the engine ... only with Box removed and EGR removed u can just get a girly hand in there ..

this is why when it does pack up .. u do the resister mod or buy a new one and mount it on the plenum ..
