Hi Guys

I have mentioned this before (also chatted it with Jeff @ Zedworld last time we met as he is REO for midlands and he is happy for me to post this event here)

They have this big classic car show every year in Trentham Gardens Stoke-On-Trent with around 1200 cars and 5000 visitors

Date: 16 June 2013-16 June 2013 Times: 10.00am - 5.00pm

Car Information: Twenty two super years at this great venue which offers over 1200 vehicle entries, 50 Club Stands, Autojumble and Trade - with the beautiful backdrop of the now fully refurbished Trentham Park and Italian Gardens. Over 5,000 visitors enjoy this great day out every year.

Event Description: Set in the beautiful backdrop of the now fully refurbished Trentham Park and Italian Gardens.

Location: Trentham Gardens on A34 near Stoke

Area: Staffordshire

Region: North West

Postcode:ST4 8AX

I had a quick chat today with the show organisers - they would be happy for any of our Zeds to attend

And it is cheap!

Entry is £3.50 per car for driver and up to three passengers (it costs you far more than that just to visit Trentham Gardens normally!)

This gives full access to Trentham Gardens which is actually quite a nice place for a family day out! http://www.trentham.co.uk/trentham-gardens

If any wives and gf's who wan't to go out into the 'craft village' they can get a pass out

We could either book in individual passes - I will be going anyway - or if we want a group stand (all cars into their own group are parked together and we can put up club banners etc) then we need at least six cars and we book them in as a group, all the passes go to the club organiser who redistributes them to the individual members attendind

The organisers close entries 3 weeks before the event, so ther is some time to organise

The organisers are www. transtarpromotions.com They also have several more shows around the midlands but trentham is the largest they tell me

So come on guys, what do you think? It's a cheap family day in nice surroundings with plenty to do - and a good chance to promote our cars and the club

Aww cheers, this all started out really because I wanted to exhibit for my first time ever, at a local show..... and wanted a bit of company.

I have to say I very much enjoyed the day, the way things worked out, and a chance to meet plenty of other members.

Big thanks for the rep - much appreciated. Now where's that 'blush' emoticon.......... ahh there it is :blushing:

Great day out guys (cheers dicky for organising). Didn't realise how hot it was - came home with a 'T-Shirt-Suntan' leaving me redder than my Zed!

What a great cross-section of cars we had. Really interesting how everybody has their own slant/touches/personal stamp on their Zeds....

Did anybody get any pics/video of the 20 Zed convoy we had en route to the show? I was up front behind Daz & Grey going under the tunnels and we all gave it the beanz, sounded totally awesome!!

Yeah I'm red as a beetroot too - guess that sun was really getting through but the hazy sky keeps you feeling comfortable

Re the video: unfortunately no. The guy I had roped in to do it, contacted me 10pm Saturday to say he had gone down to Wales for the weekend. Bummer.

Yeah it did sound awesome. I'm sure we can arrange a tunnel run for next time, which after such a good day I am sure there will be one

I too am like a bloody lobster......lol. It is sore too, getting Aloe Vera gel on every hour or so to keep the pain at bay. Again a really great day, and thanks Rich for organising it, looking forward to next year now.

Hmm. Compulsory ambre solaire for everybody next time I think. Especially those of us doing an excellent Bruce Willis impression in their vest!!!

lol, I take it that's me? Not often I get likened to Bruce Willis.....lmao, unless he has put on 2 tonne of weight and become a wheelchair user, although I do have more hair than he has......pmsl.

Well done Rich great work at organising this and you have done the club proud mate  Have some rep:thumbup1:
