Sometimes when I driving my Z under hard acceleration it will cutout and die normally at around 6000rpm. All power is lost until you come off the accelerator.

 

It is similar to what happens when a rev limiter cuts in.

 

It is rather worrying not to mention being very embarrassing:o

Knock sensor is detecting detonation by the sounds of things. Not sure what to check really - although if you're getting ecu code 34 then probably a dodgy knock sensor. If you get 55 then could a fueling problem brought on by crappy petrol etc.

Fuel was low as well so going to see if it happens with a full tank :confused:
