Im with sureterm direct too, mods declared and they cost me about a third of flux's best offer. I used to use adrain flux without fail and still get my first quotes there, just out of habit. But it seems that their prices have have gradually gone up over the last one or two years.

p.s. sureterm insured me last year, but wouldnt renew despite no changes, no claims and no other stuff going on! t&c must have changed slightly. lancaster was £100 cheaper than sureterm for me anyway

You are much better on the phone rather than online whel dealing with these specialist insurers

A-Plan , been with them years , have an import dept and been very prominent of late at shows/ meets, circuits , customer service excellent , very clued up if you got mods , i had a policy for all my Zs with them , never went over £500 as long as i did not fit Nitros !

insurance is such a pain when you mention mods,i could half my traders policy if i was dishonest but its not worth it if it goes wrong, always best to declare anything youve done imho. When ive shopped around and say imports and engine mods watch em run for the hills, its crazy as i have over 12 years no claims and probaly do less than 100 miles a year in other peoples modified cars !!

cheers for the info people ive tryed them all and sky seems to be the best for a driver under £30 with clean license and with a imported moded car thankyou
