Mine's LEON so far.

It's a great story of how a troubled hitman rediscovers love from an unlikely source. The film is tragic on many levels. Their unfortunate situations are sad, the loneliness of living in a large city, the mind of Stansfield, Leon's personality which makes him a bit 'strange' and therefore lonely.

I think the acting is brilliant along with the music, action scenes and storyline.

So what's yours ?.........

dunno really, used to be the starwars films, i mean come on they still look good today, all the special effects and stuff. its hard really to see why they are so popular, no sex, no swearing, no blood and guts, but i suppose its just timeless, a classic.

but recently, and i know it may be cheesy to pick a recent(ish) film, rather than an out and out classic but i reckon Gladiator is a fine film. the acting is superb along with the story and special effects, all in all a ****in good film.

so gladiators my fave, but if either predator/top gun/lock stock and 2 barrels/ and snatch are on the telly, guaranteed they get watched, its just pure entertainment. oh lordy some of them are on tonight, its gonna be a late one.

nelson why diddnt you come out to play today in wolverhampton?

well thats my bit, barry norman signing off......

Yes, I love Predator !:)

The tongue-in cheek humour is superb. Big Arnie fan here.

I never went to Clarkeys' meet because...

a. headlight on 300 doesn't work [do they ever work ?! LOL :D ]

and 200SX is waiting for coolant pipes and not certain it would be OK for a long drive.

b. my house is for sale so I was showing people round today

c. in process of drying clothes (I have a solid fuel heating system) and keeping house warm

d. weather forecast was crap

e. my cars are not 'finished' or in a condition of which I am proud yet, and no real ICE sorted yet

m8, your lights are probably working fine, its just zed lights have all the power of a damp candle

I like stuff that messes with your head a bit. "Fight Club" was pretty cool. "Twelve Monkeys" too.

On the other hand, I also like some throwaway trash every now and again. "Demolition Man" is one I always make time for when it gets a repeat on the telly :) Of course it probably helps that Sandra Bullock is in it :D

Gota be The Matrix!

There's lots of films I aint seen. Hope I didn't offend with my comments above !;) :(

IT just annoys me that often films I think are boring/annoying seem to be cult films

:(

When I visited my brother in Bermuda he said I had to watch the Matrix [i have a nack of knowing fron the title of a film whether I am going to like it] but I wasn't impressed and he got annoyed, so I got annoyed; so that film is a sore point with me.

American history X says so much it is impossible to go into, Im not surprised you didn't like it really. Besides it would spoil it for everyone here who hasn't seen it.

Again The matrix, like american history x is about society and how we believe what we see and look no further. Brilliant film which changed the film industry forever interms of the effects and camera work. Maybe you don't get into society much :)

Rocky Horror Show - Totally serious, one of my most favorite DVDs, just a good laugh all the way along, and richard o brien is a genius
