Hi can someone tell me how to clear an ecu of fault codes ! My caes running fine however fault code 13 is showing ( collant temp sens) so i am fitting a new one tommorrow! I am assuming i will need to clear the ecu ???

 

Has anyone else had problem with this temp sensor ?? My car seems full of power only thing i noticed it it smells very fuely and is very thirsty !!

once you have fitted the sensor the fact it has a fault stored wont have any effect...you can borrow my software and lead if its any good and clear it yourself or bring it to my house and ile do it for you.

once you have fitted the sensor the fact it has a fault stored wont have any effect...you can borrow my software and lead if its any good and clear it yourself or bring it to my house and ile do it for you.

Ahh righto mate , it doesnt bother me the code is there but the fault is fixed ! Will give you a shout if i need any help ! :)

Should just be able to leave the battery unhooked for half hour and clear it.

300's are known for the fuel lines becoming loose, especially in the winter. pop the bonnet and go around all the clips with a screwdriver and tighten them a bit.

Some are a bit difficult due to being out of sight mind.

As for being thirsty, that zeds for you! lol
