  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

I think I got a stock Z emblem with the carbon effect if you think it would freshen it up :)

I don't know what to do about it or can be done with the z badge.

If you decide to stay with the OEM badge then I have one you can have. Alternatively you can go for an

GZA aftermarket badge in Red (or Black) and available from US suppliers.

Project 1547 - Out of the Blue

She's so fine, there's no tellin' where the money went - Simply irresistible.

Not much hope for the rest of us then if yours is so wrong lol

Yup - I must concur..... One of the best cars in the club and there's so much wrong with it....:biggrin:

From this!! Goodbye after market momo....

......To this!! Hello stock..

I also agree. OEM is the best 'wheel IMHO - particularly one which has been re-trimmed by our very own Mondo....:cool:

As for me, I haven't done anything to my Zed today (yet)....

.....But yesterday, as it was a nice morning, I took mine out for the first time since mid-December. And boy did it feel good - so once I finished the Sainsbury's run, I continued further into the Chilterns for a nice blast in the winter sunshine. It did need a few miles until it was running "properly" this time, though. Engine and transmission were fine from the off, but the brakes felt almost non-existent for a bit. However I put that down to parking the Zed in the garage straight after washing it last year. They were "stuck" when I tried to drive out of the garage...

However once warmed up - and after a few harsh stops (when it was safe to do so, of course) - all was well once more. So much so, that it might be coming out to ply again today:biggrin:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

That's great thanks, I take it that it just pops out of the wheel with a bit of teasing??

Sure does, new one is an interference fit behind a lip, don't need to glue or anything

Yes, looking at your photo you still have the badge backing in place. When removed (it pops out) you will see this:

Brill thanks very much.

First time I've worked on the zed or even touched it for the past 2 months. Removed the front bumper to do some wiring, took the old battery out & put the new one in place & changed the wiper arms. Hopefully get the wiring done tomorrow & will take her for a drive at the weekend before she goes to Keith for some paint.

Not quite sure why UPS just charged me €52.60 CoD when the value of the invoice is $50...
