Anyway been trawling through ads and the hubby said what car do you want so i replied something japenese!!!!! His response "so you can park near the tent at JAE???" lol mmmmmmm yep!!!! Lol

I make me 100% right lol

 true ;)

Sorry mate, I know bugger all about the civic but I'm sure our learned members will be able to help :)

looks ok for the money but id go over it with a fine tooth comb, unless thats really the price they are commanding for one of those.

Im useless when it comes to buying cars, showed that with the last shack i bought lol

Full mot and full Honda service history is a great start so go for a test drive and take it from there. I must admit that it looks for that money:thumbup1:

Agreed - it does look tidy.....

.....but (and I know I'll get some stick for saying this) the minimum age you need to be for driving one of those is about 97.....:whistling:

On the up side, leather is "wipe clean" so if the previous owner was incontinent it should not smell too badly of wee inside!!

Richard:detective:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

ile take one then:laugh:...lmao @ the wipe clean seats too:rofl:

Your thinking of the Honda Jazz Rich :wheelchair:

Heh heh - maybe Gaz; but just about any Honda (bar the NSX) has a certain "care home" appeal about it....

And what makes me laugh even more, is that Honda has been trying to ditch the "old giffer" image for years - yet their current radio advert STILL features the voice of that American chap who sounds like he's 110 years old if he's a day....

Ok you've put me off a honda now making me feel old before my time lol what about a mitsubishi galante???

I had a similar aged civic but it was the coupe vti. It was a great car. Obviously this is a more sensible option but it was reliable and well made. When I put it up for sale I had calls from all over the country about it and it sold the next day to a man who travelled over 100 miles to get it. But I'd rather have a galant!!
