I had hid's on my old z now I'm wanting them back on my new one,

Last time I bought a decent quality kit off a member on here which were great!

Thing is I purchased an eBay kit which I spent 2 hours fitting as I wanted the ballets hidden etc ( latest kits seem to have shorter wires then the old kits it seems!!)

Now they lasted a grand total of 1 hour befor one of the bulbs blew!

Soooo where can I get a decent quality kit from please, tried searching with minimal luck

I think UK ones are diffent to jap ones

That's why it only goes up to 94

Yes that's what I thought too

The uk ones are h3 as the headlight unit is earthed as the bulb has only one pin and is earthed through the body of the bulb where as the jdm z's are h3c with two pins but it doesnt matter on hid's as they are powered via the ballist....

Confirm anybody??

Hi, if it helps, i bought the one from the Zed Centre nearly 3 years ago and 50,000 miles later, it still works perfectly. I have just checked their site but they seemed to hav stopped selling them?! I'm sure they will be able to point you in the right direction if you drop them an email.

All the best in your search.

Yeah that's correct, grounding wire can be removed but practically impossible in situ, you could snip it I suppose, so just ignore and fit a H3 55w kit.

Colour is up to to you 4300, 5000 or 6000k.

Think your ebay experience is just unlucky, I always buy for £20.00 a kit and if it fails it fails, at that money you can afford to have another as back up, of course the decision is yours.

I got mine off eBay for £20. Easy to fit and look great! Also got white bulbs for the side lights to match for £2.50. Only been in a couple of weeks but so far so good.

Looks the same as the ones I bought, they arrived with a broken ballast straight out the box first, the seller sent me new ballasts, installed them into car and the bulb blew within the hour, I was ubar careful not to touch the bulb at all.
