Hello guys.

 

So i got a problem, my AVC-R, no matter what boost i set up, max boost its always 0.9 bar.

Yesterday i want to test something and i set it up for 1.0 bar, max boost an AVC-R screen was 0.9 bar.

So i try set it up at 1.1 bar , short run and.... 0.9 bar on AVC-R max boost screen...

I got GT2560R turbos so i think 1.0 bar is not a big problem for them...

Anybody know whats wrong?

Have you got a instruction manual for it?

I haven't got a clue mate sorry

 

Could it be an actuator issue rather than a problem with the EBC?

My westegates got two "nipples" too, but i only use one.

 

Davezx - manual is easy to download from website.

Yea, but i dont have idea whats wrong and why i cant boost more than 0.9 bar :/

Say there is a new Forge actuator fitted depending on spring but with the ACVR off this sohould boost more than 1 bar ?, is he arm length set correct on the actuator ?.

 

The boost spike the AVCR makes before drop off is this what you have set in ie: through start duty or something the unit is over boosting on it's own ?, as this might be a control unit issue and not the solenoid at fault.

I think i make two tests:

 

1) turn off AVC-R and see what bost my car makes

2) unplug Wastegates and see i can reach more than 0.9 bar (slow speeding up on 2nd gear)

i hate bar, but anyway 13psi isnt too bad.

 

Whats the complete set up you are running? do you have dump valves and are they set up correctly? could be leaking boost if they are opening too soon due to pressure build up.

Could also be the waist gates opening and not letting you build boost.

If u cant make no more boost, try unplug it has u say and see if it boost right up being careful.

 

I had a similar problem on my zed, tried everything, then 1 day I took my dump vaves off put recircs back on has pulled off boost went to about 21psi.

 

From what I could make out dumpvalves were leaking inside and wouldnt let it make no more boost.

 

Have u got dump valves..

If u cant make no more boost, try unplug it has u say and see if it boost right up being careful.

I just bought gt2560r turbos too, what they like hope there good lol.

Take it u dont have dump valves.

 

other then dump valves, try pulling pipes off has u said leave actuator side open block the other side.

If it boost more then u know its to do with controller or something like that.
