ok i thought it was just me as hes opened a case against me because its not as described because its a red brake light from an orange car and because its orange its not as described and that he thought it was a generic photo and would be the same colour as his car !

Well that's just dumb, how the hell are you suppose to know what colour his car is !

his fault he never asked being a second hand part, do you offer refunds?

if so offer one and make him pay return postage.

i offered him a refund before he opened the case but he refuses to send it back unless i pay the postage back as well which i refused to do as it in my eyes is his mistake the item sold for £3 ive no spent an hour on case emails today

Bloody hell, only 3 bux, hardly worth the effort, sounds like he's just a trouble maker,

dont send anymore emails unless its via the ebay court system, offer him a refund via

that again, it's a cheap second hand part and hopefully ebay will see your side of it and

recognise that he's an idiot.

I dont normally post up business issues as i class them as private but i was scratching my head questioning myself as to if it was me lol

It is obvious it has an orange surround. I know nothing abut mr2s but def. red and orange.

He sounds like a numpty.

I get this at least once a month with different items due to having such a large shop but this guy was just out of this world hence the post

As i really was begining to think it was me

I think he was after a freebe and not expecting my first responce to be please send it back for a refund and more of a how much money do you want back i imagine

I had this recently with some numpty asking about a piece of spare kit I had listed on ebay. I'd put a picture up clearly showing the item and gave a very basic description of what it was. Anyway a guy asked if he could 'Buy it now' as he desperately needed it for something or other that weekend, so we agreed a price (about 1/3 of RRP) and I posted it out that same day on next day delivery. Then about a 5 days later he got back in touch complaining that it was the wrong colour and was actually tan rather than olive drab.

No doubt he'd used it that weekend to go airsoft'ing with his mates and then decided that his fat ass' wasn't suited to crawling around on his belt buckle so therefore was entitled to a refund.

My ebay ad simply stated:

BRAND NEW

WARRIOR ASSAULT SYSTEMS MOLLE VEST

I just let the picture do the talking as it is what it is...

On the very rare ocassion that somebody's not happy with what they'd bought or if it is a genuine mistake then I'll happily refund and depending on the item, will generally let them keep it anyway rather than post it back.

But this chump was clearly just trying it on. He'd asked if the listing could be ended early and sent payment by paypal (outside of ebay) so I left it at that. No doubt ebay/Paypal would have had no problems taking the money out of my account and leaving him with the item if the transaction had gone through the usual ebay channels

Ref the brake light in the first post mate, there's no mistaking what it is and what colour the car was

just had another reply hes def trying it on

as we all no colour has nothing to do with condition

the latest reply 5 mins ago

("they are not painted when they are standard this is not good or standard condition which you did not state in your description")

i do wonder about some people

Don't worry about it you should see some of the emails I get. They are utter ridiculas, one I had they bought an item and I sent the one that he bought. He then started to send me emails saying I sent him the wrong item as he didn't like the style, so I showed him to the listing that he should of bought and he said yes those are the ones I want?

He then wouldn't return the item and its all my fault and he is going to get the police on me blah blah all for a £13 item. He then went on to say he is going to come around and kill me blah blah and he is never going to let it lie.

I basically said how retarded he was and why would you spend £80 in petrol to get here when you wouldn't spend £3 return post, I said if you do come around and don't forget to bring the eyebrows then fook off back to your own shit hole of a country.

Never heard from him since or got a neg lol

silverline not received coilpacks yet someones closed the for sale thread before ive received them thanks taff .cant pm

Very clearly a red light from an orange car. Just ignore him. Just reply to any actual email from ebay/paypal.

I always write 'sold as seen' in my listings.

typical of some of the people that use ebay you can clearly see the item and what color it is - some users on there are just mad i mean i went to pick up my zeb now bare in mind i payed 500 quid for her as she was being sold as spares or repairs the guy told me he had people turning up and being mad that it dident run for very long had paint dmg and was in a sorry state they were expecting a near new motor for 500 quid lol, just shows the state of some people intelligence, i knew i was buying a shed and was not dissapointed when i arrived to pick up said shed although shes looking like a proper motor now after some cleaning up and carefull attention ill have to get some new pics up

had negative feedback and list of 1 ratings of him this morning for sending out an item as described :(

You never win with eBay I state in my listings no returns accepted but eBay twice this year favoured the buyer. They always do.
