Right currently have my car for sale, but im wondering if It would be worth my while painting it and maybe a couple of other bits and bobs. If I was to paint it I would also send my ecu to noz and have him chip it and maybe fit some new downpipes. Oh and sort out the stance. Now my question is I suppose is if I was to do all that how much could I realistically ask for it??

On my phone just now so cant add the link but pictures can be found on my for sale thread.

If your willing to spend all that, just keep it! I doubt you would see a return on having that done tbh, get that work done and keep it then you will have a cracking zed!!

The same price

Give it a year or so when the terrible reputation of these cars as being unreliable engine melters with no potential has long been forgotten. Also, what we need is for everyone to buy all the snotters, do them up and sell them for decent money. Collectively, we can do it :cool3:

Sell it then

P.S. 'Turbonoz' stickers add £500 :whistling:

Maybe should have said i work in the trade so can get this all done for mates rates. IMO all the car needs is painted, as mechanically it is sound.

I agree - if you're selling it for £x now, you won't increase the price by what ever it costs you to have it painted..... Unless the paintwork is currently so bad that it is pulling the price right down at the moment.

So if the paintwork is not bad, and just in need of a little tidy-up due to age, sell it as it is. Otherwise repaint it and hang on to a nicely resprayed 300zx - you can always sell it for more once the market picks up a bit.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
