Just got my car running after fitting new turbos and noticed a take off on the bottom of the balance bar on the passengers side, just above idle control valve open or "pipe-less" is this because I have done an egr delete? have blanked it now and all seems ok!

the egr has three hardlines, two to the underside of the plenum and on from the manifold by the battery. and a vacline that runs from the unit to a solenoid on the wing on the brake master cylinder.

thats nothing to do with EGR .. but the Pipe take off on the balance bar on that side i'm sure it feeds the Passenger Recirculating valve or BOV at the front ..

do you mean the 4mm harline on the balance bar that goes to the little nut with a 4 mm take off just by the fuel filter? if so tahts the prv. have a look at robos300zx page it gives some good write ups of the vac lines etc.

thats on the side of the plenum .. he said its above the Idle control valve ... sure the only one there would be on the balance bar

oh right didn't read that properly, yeah there is one there isn't there that goes down to the front, as you say think its for the bov. the carbon canister also goes up near there doesn't it? I cant remember, bothe those long lines wouldn't reach the balance bar on mine. as long as it gets to the plenum im not sure it matters.

Also carried out a carbon delete would this be connected...no pun intended:sad: carried all this out by researching Robos site didn't see anything about this but that doesn't mean It is not !

if you have removed carbon canister and done some other vac tidys yes that should be blocked off
