Hi everyone!!

 

Decided to spoil myself with a late Xmas pressie and got tempted by a beautiful z32 with one-off body kit and boosted power. Not very reasonable as I already have a few other toys, and decided to buy the beast without any proper check over...

 

I don't have much paper work and bought it from a dealer that took it in part exchange. He put me the previous owner on the phone for me, who confirmed that the car was all good. Decided to go for it as the look is simply awesome (flash yellow, certainly not for the shy type) and the power tremendous. I owned a z32 a few years ago, and when I took this one for a test drive, realised how much more power was on hand than with a standard model (which my previous car was). Can't really explain why, but just love these cars - mixture of great looks, power and reasonable price tag + amazing gt cruiser and drifting toy when pushed :-)

 

Would be great to get in touch with some of you guys who are not too far from me (i am in golder green) to share experience etc, especially as the z needs a new things doing (electrics playing up a bit, revs too high when idle + general check over and servicing needed as the car doesn't have much service history).

Hi everyone and thx for all the welcome messages - trying to upload pictures but no so successful at the minute - arrrgghh - will try again shortly - thx all for your patience! it will be worth it...

Best way is to copy them over from a site like photobucket

so, futher to Cyberbean's tip (cheers matey!), and after a nb of attempts, once last shot at uploading pictures....hopefully the link thereafter will take you to my newly created photobucket album!!

 

BTW, any one not too far from me on the forum?

Yep bought it of a trader in Leyton - was advertised as having 500bhp although no print to prove - power is simply scary!

 

Noz - thx v much for uploading these for me - sounds like you are better with your computer than what I could manage, which is not much!

 

Thinking of getting the car to zworld for a proper check before I take it to France for a proper spin - a bit of a hassle as I don't have the time and might need to get it trailered there, but as far as I can read in the forum the chaps there are apparently worth the trip...

 

Will keep you posted.

left mouse click in the box for "Image Code" and then just paste that into the post.

It’s a shed load easier than the twinturbo forum where you have to code everything you paste or link in html code … (I’m not very good at that.. lol)

If you can get your car up to Zedworld, then to it Alan..... Jeff and co know these cars better than anyone, so it will be in good hands!!

 

Whereabouts in London are you based - by coincidence I am from Leyton originally (my folks still live there); but I now live Buckinghamshire?

I've been lucky so far and everything i've needed to do i've done myself. If I needed professional help i'd definitely get the car to Zedworld. The reputation Zedworld has is second to none

Thought I recognised that Zed! I got my one from there too. Had a good look at it when i bought mine but a bit out of my price range at the time. Awesome car!

Mine had problems with the electrics too actually.. Got mine sorted at reads garage in Stratford. Pass by there and let them have a look at it. They don't specialise in Zeds but they sorted it mine in a day and didnt charge me much.

Great many thx for the tip. I have it booked with an electrician to sort all the bits out v shortly. Sent it to zedworld for a complete health check and Jeff sorted it all out for me, really good chap. Yep awesome car, the power delivery is just incredible. I have a Porsche 911 as well and now thinking of selling it as I have too much fun with the z. Any push on the accelarator under the wet puts the car sideways - love it!

PS: not sure what you thought about the garage I got it from but the chaps there are clueless - nice gys though :-)

Yeah bit clueless. Nice guys tho but when they told me "all electrics working perfectly, everything mechanical is ok and no rust at all" that was far from the truth. Suppose u get what u pay for.

 

I'm saving up for another one now.
