songs playing while something went wrong with the zed.

there are certain songs that you remember, that when heard, you can still picture a moment in time when the song was playing, such as a me being on a club 18-30 holiday in greece, messing around with a Swedish nurse and blur boys and girls was playing. get the idea!!

 

On my way home shakira hips dont lie plays on the radio, next thing its like im put back in time a few years ago, driving on the express route from rouen to chartres in france in my zed, when a DB7 zooms past beeping his horn, red flag to a bull, and im off, flashing him to get out of the way and 145, he pulls over and to prove a point i floor it, next thing i remember is lots of smoke, engine making a terrible racket, looking at the temp gauge and it had gone past the really really hot bit and was on route to the targas. after i stopped, a few ciggies, lots of swearing, rubbing my head, pacing up and down later, the recovery guy said in his best english "sorreee miss ure, you engine is what you english say...........................................dead, ...................yep it is not well, very fooked...............

    No word of a lie...true story here.....

     

    The morning I woke up to the flood which took my last Zed started off as a normal one - I got up and put my music on as usual....being a massive heavy metal fan the song 'Now you got something to die for' by Lamb of God was playing as I looked out the window to notice the horror for the first time! Couldn't have been a more apt song title at the time!
