nice motor, but seems to be so many on the roads. dont get me wrong i would have one, but it would have to be different ie with full nismo kit and low and wheels. when driving around in my zed give the usual nod or flash to a 350z driver, and unless they know z history look at you if your bonkers, but som edo respond.

my thoughts only so dont shoot me.

buy a 350z, because you cant afford a 370z, buy a 370z because you cant afford a skyline gtr

same as buy an audi tt as you cant afford an R8.

but on the other hand it is a nissan, albeit slower than a standard 300zx tt.

Totaly agree Stu but as I've only ever had N/A's and the best was a slicktop its just got me thinking :)

they're well priced too at the moment. i have a soft spot for the nismo version. surely chip, filter and zaust would make a good difference to the bhp front, and, with so many around, i bet parts arent too bad. i worry 300zx's are going to get very pricey with the volume being broken!

IMHO the 350 put Nissan back in the sports car game but like what's been said, too many about still. When you see a 300 you think....90's powerhouse, drive a twin turbo and you think 90's crazy powerhouse before emissions and other legislation changed the way cars are built. The truth is, if you are a petrol head you have to be happy with what you drive. Some of us even spend more on our chosen cars and could easily of purchased a newer equivalent.

Choice is all yours matey as long as you're happy when you turn that key.

Good luck in choosing.

350Z , great car , handles brilliantly , but, prior to 2006 models, faulty clutch/transmission/flywheel woes , plus the dreaded tyre feathering and alignment issues , 5th gear syncro prone to giving out! , put me off it in the end , nearly got one, but there again what car has NO issues over its life, will have some at some time , just look on any forum. (GTR R35 early models, tranmission woes again!!)

Lovely cars to drive, only been in the soft top and there isnt that much space inside. Would have to change the wheels exhaust and slam it down with some camber on the rear.

The only bad things are the road tax, think after 2006 its £460 a year  and the interior is bloody horrible, everythings so plasticy and looks cheap not like the 370 where the interior looks like what you should get in a £30k car.
