Is it possible to get a clear / see through bonnet?

I'm guessing that would probably have to have one custom made from heat resistant perspex, which defiantly not be cheap.

Very expensive as said and I would say it would have to be made from acrylic (same as an aircraft canopy) for safety reasons. Massive project.

Could one be made from clear resin?

Nope it will be to brittle

don't do it, u will get pulled ever 5 seconds by blind coppers thinking you've got no bonnet, you will be cleaning the underside every 5 minutes to remove road dirt and engine vapours etc, other peoples engine fumes from traffic etc.

It only works on rear engine super cars.
