Paying for some weisco pistons on the 15th from on here.

Just looked on flea bay, there's acl mains and rod bearings anyone bought from there and are they the right ones..

And wheres the best place for head bolts,

And are the mains bolts re usable, not going for big power just fresh and hopefully reliable engine,

After a set of tubs, uprated but nothing huge, if anyone has anything newish for sale before the misses kills me and have to pay nearly 2k.

Thanks guys

When u got them pm me and I'll see what money is like,

Im near on skint with everything going on,

But may be able to if get the work come in.

How do u go about bearings for the eagle rods, size and where to buy..

Most likely reuse bolts, im not going for big power or it will end up me chasing power and spending stupid amounts lol..

there the same bearings for the rods ..

if your crank is spot on and no re-grounding is needed .. just check

ALC STD Size bearings for both rods/main

these will work with all Rods

If they were stretch bolts I wouldn't for sure, but if they dont need to be changed cant see why to waste more money,

If I was building a monster for sure id change but I just want a fresh rebuild with maybe a touch more power.

I got an na rear end and running standard boost at moment and to be honest its still quick,

I broke my chipped ecu and was running 14/15psi it was well quick enough for the road and was most likely around 350bhp.

Rather then power I have made my mind up, and spend money on body, wheels, interior, coilovers etc.

And have a fresh hopefully reliable zed that looks and drives great.

Oobumblebeoo has bought Cometic head gaskets so hoping his kind enough to let me nick his oem head gaskets,

Hoping oem will be ok with 88mm wiesco pistons.

If so can the gasket set be bought cheaper without head gaskets,

If I cant stretch to marks eagle rods, and use oem rods should I change small end bearings..

Funny think is I work on cars everyday but im lost when u start oversized pistons and performance stuff,

All the garages I worked in never really get this involved either mainly head gaskets, clutches, timing belts and diagnostic etc so yeah im a mechanic whos lost lol...
